The Meridian, Reimagined for the Water
Design Notes
The Meridian Diver retains the sector-inspired dial architecture of the original Meridian, using concentric divisions and fine crosshairs to create a clear and balanced structure.
Its multi-layer appearance is enhanced by three distinct areas and contrasting surface finishes. The central section and outer minute track are sandblasted for a soft, matte texture, while the sector carrying the applied numerals and hour markers features a circular-brushed finish that responds more dynamically to the light.
The numerals and markers feature polished surfaces and are filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9, creating a refined contrast during the day and clear legibility in darker conditions. Each hand has been carefully proportioned to connect naturally with its respective track, preserving the clarity and depth of the original Meridian dial.
For the Diver, the fixed bezel has been replaced by a rotating dual-scale dive bezel. Its two complementary scales extend the structured geometry of the dial beyond the crystal, adding practical timing functionality without disrupting the balanced sector layout. The result is a more capable and purposeful interpretation of the Meridian, housed in a 37.4 mm case measuring 43.5 mm from lug to lug and 12 mm thick, with 200 metres of water resistance.
